Tennessee Titans Job Opening/Play by Play Person

Tennessee Titans/Play by Play Person

———–JOB LISTING———

The Tennessee Titans have an exciting position that has opened up being the voice of our beloved franchise.  You will be replacing an absolute legend and will be compared to him constantly but hey, Nashville is a vibrant and fun city.

Because we are paying 22 people not to be with the team anymore, the salary is $250 per game, with a $10 per diem.  You will also have to book your own flights, using Spirit Airlines.  We have a discount with them that we have gotten.  Since no one is buying tickets anymore, we have switched our ticket team to finding bartering deals with companies.

You will get 5% off on all Titans merchandise from the pro shop and speaking of the pro shop, you will be required to work there during bye weeks.  You really think we are going to pay you to sit around and do nothing?  Hardly.

Any interview with our esteemed owner can happen at anytime and your voice inflection must give off the feeling that we are super bowl contenders and you will be handed a set of questions to be asked by Mrs. Strunk’s PR team.   Do not deviate from this.  The last person who tried to be cute was sent to the pacific northwest.

On game days, after you are off the air, due to budgetary constraints, you will be required to pick up trash in the 200 level of the stadium.  You will NOT wear team gear, but a bright yellow jacket as we don’t want you to be seen by anyone.

At the team facility, you are expected to arrive by 5 A.M. because the breakfast that you will be preparing and cooking, needs to be ready to go by 6.  It used to be 10 AM when our former GM worked here because he never arrived before 930 AM.

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 5 years of being told what to do in a corporate setting.  7 references that must be season ticket holders of the Titans and have already sent their money in for that and PSL’s.  At least one year of play-by-play experience at any level, it does not matter where or what.   Must have cash register experience since you will be working in the pro shop during the bye week and the off-season.

We look so forward to meeting you and can’t wait for the 2025 season where will probably go 1-16.  Also, we will blame you for any and/or everything that goes wrong with this franchise and there is a lot.  I would suggest renting, not buying in Nashville.

God Bless.
