It is simply the happiest place on earth.
There are no signs telling you that once you arrive.
There are no signs telling you how to get there.
In fact, there are no signs at all.
Well, there is one and we will get to it in a minute.
This place though, is as close to nirvana on earth as we can get.
There is not a single care in the world.
At least not one I can see.
There are no bad days here.
There is actually only one thing bad and that will end up being your fault.
I discovered this place by happenstance. Where I go to run at a football field, was locked and I had to run on the greenway.
As I plodded along, something caught my eye, up ahead on the right.
As I crossed the road and ran up there, I stood in amazement for at least 10 minutes.
I had found the happiest place on earth.
A dog park.
A simple dog park.
I counted about 30 dogs just running around and chasing each other and having the time of their lives.
Then I looked at the people that were there.
Everyone smiling. Strangers talking to each other like long lost friends.
My son and I have been there now, two days in a row. He has as much fun as the dogs do.
I challenge you to take your dog there and have a bad time.
Impossible.
A damn dog park.
The happiest place on earth.
Nothing comes close.
