Addiction

“Everyone is addicted to something. Just find the one what won’t kill you.”

I heard that one time on a show. Maybe Miami Vice. Maybe a movie. Hell, I probably just imagined it.

But yes, addiction can come in

I have one.

And I will quit it. Eventually.

This is my addiction.

I have tried for years to quit. I can’t.

But I need to. Like today.

You see, I recently weighed myself and I wanted to vomit.

Wanted. To. Vomit.

I was addicted to regular coke. Then I discovered diet Coke and instead of drinking 8 cokes a day, drinking 8 diet cokes sounded better.

Then they throw Coke Zero at me. What was I supposed to do? Drink 8 Coke Zero’s?

But 8 of anything carbonated isn’t good. I have slowly cut back to around 2 to 3, but still, they got me.

Kinda like this.

EVERY TIME I TRY TO GET OUT, THEY PULL ME BACK IN AGAIN.

Who Joe? Who won’t let you go?

THESE GUYS!!

Wednesday, I start with a personal trainer. Colin at Body Shop Fitness in Mt. Juliet. (WWW.BodyShopFitness.net.) I plan on losing 75 pounds in the next year.

Not kidding. I am on the fast track to 400 pounds.

One way ticket.

It all starts on Wednesday. Or, it all ends on Wednesday.

Either way, I win.

Good luck JoJo I know you can do it. It’s all about attitude and getting your mind right. The hardest thing about going the that gym is staying away from all the good eats in the Providence area Cori’s doghouse, Martins BBQ, etc. I eat lunch in that area and a lot of temptations.. Good Luck Bro!

Those cokes will take surface rust off a chrome bumper no joke–you gotta give them up buddy. As far as addictions go I can’t give up randomly calling your show and winning tickets but not coming to pick them up.
